Dutch (Rudy Bond), the team manager of The Mammoths baseball team, is is preparing to give Bruce Pierson (Albert Salmi) a real dressing down

The reprimanding begins while Henry Wiggen (Paul Newman) looks on in the background.

At a party, Dutch takes the loaded gun away from Piney Woods (George Peppard) who accidentally shot out a light while showing off

But Dutch is still in a mood to celebrate
