Robert von Heeren and Dieter Koch have published a book on Pholus in Europe. Unfortunately, so far it is only in print in German. Here is the description as sent to me by the publisher, Reinhardt Stiehle of Chiron Verlag:

The CPA Press has recently published "To the Edge and Beyond: Saturn, Chiron, Pholus and the Centaurs" by Melanie Reinhart. It is available for sale at the CPA Website. The press release included the following:
I've just finished reading this book, and there is a lot to ponder! Some of Melanie's insights into Nessus include:
"The bargains we make with the dead....those bargains which are sealed unconsciously, and thereby can become very poisonous....If we are unconsciously trying to get free from something we don't even know we are held by, it can indeed have very destructive spin-offs in our relationships."
She equates it with teaching us how to recognize that some people seem to magnetically drain energy from others, and how some people seem to make others feel energized.
She sees it as an expression of the various metaphors using the word burning....burning with hatred, shame, anger. And she links Nessus to the phrase 'bad blood.'
