HER WONDERFUL WRITING STYLE |
Kim Rogers-Gallagher has a unique way of reaching you: she makes you laugh, and before you know it you've learned a lot without even realizing you were being taught! And she knows how to write about real people, not new-age fluff.
Kim's first book is the best-selling Astrology for the Light Side of the Brain, a light-hearted, complete astrology textbook specially designed to enable anyone, especially lighthearted beginner/intermediate students, to actually make sense of their birth chart, even if a real, live astrologer doesn't happen to be handy.
In Kim's second book, Astrology for the Light Side of The Future, she endeavored to provide 'everything you ever wanted to know about transits and predicting the future,' and to make the journey more fun than traveling with Alice through Wonderland.
Read the reviews:
From The Wessex Astrologer: "A brilliant follow up to Astrology for the light side of the Brain. Applying her razor sharp wit to the technique of prediction, the author teaches us how to create the future we would like."
From Amazon.com: "This sequel to the best-seller, "Astrology for the Light Side of the Brain," teaches the reader to use the current positions of the planets (transits) to project into the future. Kim Rogers-Gallagher's writing has been praised by such renowned astrologers as Steven Forrest, Rob Hand and Jeff Jawer. In this work, she provides a complete picture of transits (the planets interacting with your birth horoscope) in an easy-to-read style that both entertains and instructs! Transits of planets through houses and aspects to natal planets are described in vivid detail - you may be packing your Venus kit (flowers, silk sheets, chocolates and a Yanni CD) for a trip through each house of your chart or learn how a Uranus/Neptune transit can make you feel like Dorothy waking up in Oz. Highly entertaining, this serious look at forecasting future trends emphasizes personal empowerment through knowledge."
She has written for Gloria Star's "Women and Astrology" and "Astrologers Discuss the New Millennium," She writes the Love, Money, Health column for Dell Horoscope, in addition to penning frequent celebrity analysis articles for that same magazine. She is also frequently published in The Mountain Astrologer, American Astrology, and other astrological journals, and has authored the introductory astrological info sections in both Llewellyn's Annual Calendar as well as its Daily Planetary Guide.
